What I did at Bellagio Las Vegas
We've stayed at the Bellagio four times now & are going back next year - we'd visited but never stayed before and it exceeded our expectations in all areas. Everything is pristine & the staff, from check- in to room service, are so friendly & extremely efficient. Nothing is too much trouble.
What did you like best about the Hotel?
The front of house staff are amazing & we've never waited more than 10 minutes to check in, even at really busy times.
The Bellagio pools are fantastic & the pool cafe serves the best hot dog I've ever had! The Peach Bellinis are gorgeous. Pricey but we're on holiday! We have always had great rooms & when we mention we are returning customers always get an upgrade to a fountain, strip or pool view.
The maid service is really good - our room always tidied twice a day, spotlessly clean & delicious chocolates left by the bed. One lady, Mercedes, heard us saying how good the chocs were and left extra - so sweet. The beds themselves are so comfortable that it's really hard to get up in the morning, like sleeping on a cloud.
The ice cream & salads at Cafe Gelato are excellent and we're trying to work our way through all the flavours.
The buffet is the best we've tried and worth the extra cost. Fantastic choice & the staff go out of their way to be helpful.
Tips and Tricks
- The best time to try the Stratosphere rides is in the morning. They open around 10am and are really quiet so you can keep going as long as your stomach allows. The queues at night can be really bad. Go even if you don't do the rides - the view from the top is awesome.
- Have a frozen hot chocolate at Serendipty 3, in front of Ceasars Palace.
- Use the bus service to go up & down the strip, cheap & frequent.
- The Cheesecake Factory, in Ceasars Palace, has great food & service.
- The Grand Lux Cafe in the Venetian is another great place to eat, especially the Red Velvet Cake!
