Valentine's Day In Las Vegas

Getting Romantic on Valentine's Day on the Las Vegas Strip

By , About.com Guide

Las Vegas can be romantic on Valentine's Day, not the romance that you think about when Jimmy Stewart screams "Mary!" during It's a Wonderful Life but you can easily find your romantic side in Las Vegas. Fabulous restaurants, cozy ultra lounges, erotic entertainment or the simple stroll along the Las Vegas strip can turn on the romance.

1. A Couples Massage at the Canyon Ranch Spa at the Palazzo Las Vegas

You will never be this relaxed again after a day at the Canyon Ranch Spa at the Palazzo.  A couples massage for two, the Rasul ceremony to get you in the mood and some lounging in the wave room. If you toss in a steam, the sauna and and maybe a light workout, you have all the ingredients for the ultimate spa day with your very own special person to share it with.

3. See LOVE at the Mirage on Valentine's Day Weekend.

Cirque Du Soleil
"All you need is love" You'll be singing it and you'll be romancing it with Cirque du Soleil on Valentine's Day Las Vegas. So much happens right before your eyes that you won't have time to talk to each other during the show. The music will surprise you as you sing along to the songs even if you are not a big Beatles fan. This is easily one of the best shows you will ever see and your special someone will be very pleased with your attempt at romance on Valentine's Day.

4. Take the Romance to the XS at Encore Las Vegas

The nightclub scene in Las Vegas is very hot and XS is exactly what you would expect from a club on the Las Vegas strip. Grab a table and romance your date the way it should be done, VIP style in Las Vegas.

5. Propose Marriage at the Eiffel Tower on Valentine's Day

Do it, go to the top of the Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas and just ask her. Do it already! Sitting high above the Las Vegas strip with the entire Las Vegas valley spread out around you, get down on one knee and just ask her to join you on your journey for the rest of your life. There is no better way on Valentine's Day in Las Vegas.

6. Romance with Fine French Cuisine at Andre's

The dining room is where you'll find the respite from the Las Vegas action and the introduction to fine dining. If you are looking for a romantic restaurant Andre's brings a little of that flair you need to induce romance into your night. Fine dining has a way of doing that. Have a remarkable bottle of wine, some classic French dishes and fall in love, Las Vegas style.

7. A Different Kind of Romance at First Food and Bar

H. James Hoff
My wife finds First Food and Bar romantic. "It's a little loud, busy and has a great view." Apparently, it is all about the company you keep. Good drinks, fun food and an atmosphere that might redefine your idea of romance. Personally, First Food and Bar has the fun atmosphere that I equate with flirtatious behavior, conversations that take place within close proximity and fun food is shared and talked about.

8. Maybe You Crave a Romantic Retreat at Wynn Las Vegas

Casually elegant accommodations, a meal at Stratta, a bottle of wine and an evening at Le Reve. The offer is good at either Encore Las Vegas or Wynn Las Vegas. There is a sense that you could fall in love in the quaint Encore hotel, take your date down to the Eastside lounge and have a drink as you spend a little time talking. Not flirting, not discussing, just talking. There is something very hot about listening. Try it, the art of listening, you can thank me later.

9. Take Your Romance to the Edge with Zumanity

Maybe you need a little motivation to get romantic. Zumanity will do it for you as long as you agree to open your mind, drop your guard and enjoy the show.
