Say what you will about staying at budget hotels, the Trop remains a favorite of mine. I especially enjoy the beautiful pool with a waterfall. I try to get a Garden room, with outdoor patio. Relaxing out there with a drink in the evening, among the palm trees, can't be beat. It's a laid back atmosphere I really enjoy.
