What to expect at Tropicana Hotel & Casino Las Vegas:
Expect different than you might already know. The light is better in the casino, the atmosphere is modern and a little of what was once very Las Vegas is back. The price is right, because the Tropicana has decided to transform the look of the entire hotel while maintaining an allegiance to those customers who are looking for an affordable Las Vegas getaway. You’ll see clean lines, brighter colors, remodeled look in every corner from the rooms to the pool to the eating choices to the gaming tables.
What you might like at Tropicana Hotel & Casino Las Vegas:
You’ll love the rooms. The décor is modern and can compete with most properties on the strip. You’ll really like the fact that the Tropicana has been around since the days when they made hotel room that actually had some space. They are larger than most hotels rooms on the strip yet will cost you about 20 – 30 percent less.
What you might not like at Tropicana Hotel & Casino Las Vegas:
If you were a regular before the major overhaul you might feel like the Tropicana has left you behind. Until I stay there again I can only say that I am getting mixed reviews from those I speak to. The rooms are great and the addition of food options are also a plus so you might like what it has turned into. You will not like that the restaurants are not as inexpensive as you might think considering it is still the Tropicana.

My suggestion for Tropicana Hotel & Casino Las Vegas:
Go to the pool and rent a cabana. It’s the cheapest cabana on the strip and the location, with real trees and grass is a recipe for ultimate relaxation. The pool has been redone so if you stay away from the day club area you should enjoy yourself(with a family). If you head to the day club area you'll be in for a full on Las Vegas pool experiencing.

The rooms are all new and you will not be disappointed, huge televisions, modern furnishings and a sense that the tropics are right outside your window. You’ll want to hang out in the room because the colors are warm and inviting and the space you’ll get is surprising. These rooms are larger than most standard rooms in Las Vegas.
