The rooms at the Mirage seem a bit small compared to some of the other "above the median" hotels on the strip. On a relative scale the furnishings are better than average and the size is below average. With that said, the rooms are nice and comfortable and the amenities in the hotel make the Mirage a good place to stay. They no longer have a cafe but options such as Starbucks, Carnegie Deli, CPK and BLT Burger still allow for a casual meal. Breakfast at the buffet can work or a quick pastry at the Roasted Bean.
