I took a seat in the one chair, barber room at the Salon Bellagio and met Christina Barjon, she's like the girlfriend you had in college who understood that things would never work out because the two of you were changing rapidly, so instead, you both remained really good friends and could talk about virtually anything without any of the weirdness associated with being man and woman. All of that and she can give you a close shave and trim your hair so as to make you look like you are ten years younger and good looking.

What you can opt for at the Salon Bellagio:
- Bellagio Traditional Shave – It starts with the pre-shave oil and then a hot towel to open the pores and then the warm shaving cream. If you are still awake you are treated to a straight razor shave that is the first step in bringing you back from the caveman look you have been going for since your vacation started. After a second shave there is an application of a styptic stone which is meant as an antiseptic and then a cold towel that is infused with lavender oil that really soothes the skin. One more coat of an after shave gel and your skin feels entirely new.
30-minute service - $40 - Bellagio Aromatherapy Skin Treatment – Warm towels and aromatherapy to rejuvenate your skin. This is the form of pampering we should all get on a regular basis.
45-minute service - $50 - Bellagio Royal Shave – The Salon Bellagio describes it like this, “Service begins with a steamed hot towel. A warm shaving cream is applied and the face is shaved twice. Alum block is applied for antiseptic and pore-closing purposes. The face is then wrapped in a hot towel while the barber prepares a botanical-based mask which consists of rose desert clay, calendula extract and almond and jojoba oils which replenishes necessary nutrients lost during the shaving process. Once the mask has dried, it is gently removed with a warm steamed towel soaked in lemon essential oils.”
My wife's description:"Wow, so yummy!" Any questions?
45-minute service - $60
