Lance Burton at the Monte Carlo is capable of making things disappear and reappear. It's magic and illusions for $75. I might be playing it down but the show seems too refined and rehearsed. It seems to easy to be entertaining. However, this is a kid friendly show and my son loved it.

Lance Burton's interaction with the crowd is possibly the reason the magician has had a long run on the Las Vegas Strip. He is not fooling you into believing his tricks, his efforts center more on giving you a show and he succeeds in doing that. His show is kid friendly, clean and good family entertainment.

If you have a child go and be entertained. If not, see Penn and Teller if you are looking for a bit more of an adult experience when looking for a magician.

Lance Burton is an entertainer. Period. When you sit down to see his show at the Monte Carlo Hotel in Las Vegas you can bet he will do his best to entertain you. Those people who make Las Vegas entertainment special are the performers who understand that they are delivering a product each and every night that visitors are paying good money for.

Lance Burton understands that and it shows in the way he gives the audience a complete show. I understand it's magic, I can see some of the same tricks performed up and down the strip on a nightly basis, but not everybody can deliver the product in such an entertaining fashion.

Lance Burton interacts with the audience, includes the kids and even dazzles you with a few illusions that you don't understand. The biggest draw for me is his ability to allow his personality to show through during the performance.

If you have children they will enjoy it, if you don't you might still enjoy the show for what it is, a clean version of a Las Vegas magic act.
