Con: confusing & off color needlessly
No,would NOT recommend!
Security was a pain in the ass. Bass way too loud, could not understand words sung, Would of been better if the piano & Elton John turned to allow better view--would of been very easy to do, about 1/2 way thru show. I have enjoyed Elton John's music for well over 20 years.
Yes, I knew he was Gay. BUT---The pictures & films on the screen behind him were really confusing....they did not go with the songs... how most people think. Most people would expect the drug use--(hinted & shown) and most don't mind a sex over tone. BUT--believe me, most fans that attended this show do NOT think what was depicted by the films, is what these songs mean. Elton John said several times the films were to explain the songs! "head in oven, a bunch of very good looking (gayish) young men dancing, young couple dancing violently", no, no those are not the things most of his fans would expect his songs to mean!
BUT THE WORST!!!!!!
The blow up body parts!!
Believe me, a 3 foot red nipple on a huge blow up breast, did not add to the performance.
I cannot believe a gay man who everyone would expect to be respectful of woman, would OK these huge, gross symbols of low class, stupidity!!
Yes I am mad--I paid hundreds of dollars for tickets to a show that I thought all ages & types would enjoy! Try hosting & sitting with your mother, sister, daughters & nieces (all over 23yrs. old)while huge breasts bob in front of their eyes!!!Awful! Waste of money!! INSULTING! If I had any clue it was going to be so, so off color I would of never gone!! He should be ashamed of himself. I thought he was a big friend of Princess Diana.
