You want to have a drink but you also want to relax and not get hit on by every person of the opposite sex. You also want a beverage of high quality and attention to detail. I can’t handle the amount of women who try to pick me up at Las Vegas bars (It’s so annoying!) Actually, the places to get the best drinks in town are right here and I still included my personal favorite, The Peppermill. Go ahead have another Scorpion.

1. A Scorpion at the Peppermill

If you can only visit one bar in Las Vegas do not waste your time in a Casino that has been taken over by corporate America. At the Peppermill the evening gown clad servers will transport you to an era when being cool had absolutely nothing to do with baggy pants and caps worn sideways. Order a Scorpion, the signature drink, and sit back in the deep booths. Vegas Baby!
2. A Martini at Olives at the Bellagio Hotel

It's simple, order the flat bread and a dirty Martini in the middle of the afternoon. Step out on to the patio and relax. This is exactly what a vacation should be like. Watch the fountains, the people or the Las Vegas strip and enjoy a classic drink.
3. The Tequila Bar at Bally's

If you crave a Margarita or if you just like taking shots of mescal this is a good choice. A wide selection of Tequila and a creative staff to mix some great drinks.
4. A Great Bottle of Red at Delmonico's at the Venetian Hotel

If you love wine you will enjoy the selections at Delmonico's. I'm a fan of the big Barolos and the classic Riojas and I am completely satisfied each time I sit down at Delmonico's.
5. Vodka at Red Square at Mandalay Bay Hotel

It's easily one of my favorite places in Las Vegas. It is the atmosphere, the drinks, the patrons and the ice bar. Red Square draws you in with its decor and vibe and keeps you with its Vodka and friendly staff.
6. A Beer at Nine Fine Irishmen

Have a beer at an Irish bar in New York. What else would you expect from Las Vegas? The Irish lager, the Red Ale and and a Guinness, of course. Three beers and a big hearty bowl of Irish Stew will get you going for the evening.
7. Rum at rumjungle at the Mandalay Bay

Clearly a place to have few rum drinks. Take a look at the Bar and you should see what I mean. It does get loud, crowded and hot, but it is a very good choice if you plan sitting around a bottle or two.
