What it’s like at Tabu Las Vegas

Lose your inhibition at Tabu. That's what they say. Deep martinis. Deep conversations. Bold. Voyeuristic. It makes you want to be there. This is the newest after party party. Expect dark corners and comfy places to practice all those lines you have worked up in your head.

Suggestion for Tabu Las Vegas:

When I explained what this place was all about, my wife was somewhat reluctant to allow me to go alone, it was late and she was in desperate need of some sleep. Her fear was not that I would get caught up in some wild party atmosphere, her fear was I would see something or someone displaying a lack of inhibition and decide I should go back to the room and do the same. Needless to say, it didn't happen, I had my deep Manhattan in a fashionable Martini glass and then I looked for the exit.

At least that’s the story I’m sticking with.

Question from a Reader:

Is it worth my time or not . . . any hot men don't care what they do who they are--can they dance and buy a lady a drink?

My Answer:

Actually, yeah, they'll be a ton of hot men, unfortunately, they are all going to try to tell you what they do and who they are. It's in our nature to try to impress a person of the opposite sex with frivolous banter about our personal lives that usually is conjured up before the evening begins. That's the fun part.

Stand at the bar and you will most likely get hit on by a guy and he will probably buy you a drink. That is the universal theorem of the club scene and I am quite sure it is not isolated on the Las Vegas strip. It happens everywhere. I would say that a few can dance and a lot more of the good looking ones(myself included) can't dance, don't try to dance and only dance if it is desperately necessary to keep a conversation going with a good looking woman.

So, you will get a few drinks, you will dance and those good looking, nice guys will try very hard to help you explain your definition of a lady.

Hope that helps. Go back to nightclubs
