With so much to see and so much to do it’s no wonder that Las Vegas is the type of destination that lends itself to the love of photography. Consider that in one day you can see the canals of Venice, the Eiffel Tower, the Statue of Liberty and the Sphinx. Combine the sights with the only in Las Vegas attractions such as an erupting volcano, a pirate battle and a man made lake with a very impressive dancing fountain show and you can see how you’ll be taking photographs non-stop.

2. Maps Of Las Vegas

The funny thing about Las Vegas is that plenty of people rarely leave the strip their entire vacation. That’s a shame because so much is happening in and around Las Vegas that the adventurous traveler can find so much to explore and see just minutes from the famous Las Vegas strip. Head to the Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, Mt. Charleston or even as far away as Bryce Canyon, Utah while on vacation and get a full dose of the Southwest. All you need is a map and you will be set for a little adventure on your vacation.

3. Where To Stay in Las Vegas

Over the last ten years the average room in Las Vegas hotels has improved to include flat screen televisions, plush robes and slippers and furnishings that rival some of the best hotels around the country. Room rates no longer seem absurdly high and most resorts are doing a much better job at offering discounts and promotions. What that means for you when searching for a Las Vegas hotel is that your dollar today buys you far more than what it did even a mere 2 years ago.

4. Las Vegas Cuisine

Las Vegas is the home to some of the best chefs in the world, if you need a 3 star Michelin restaurant you’ll find Joel Robuchon at the MGM Grand and looking for up and coming chefs I’ll tell you that Shawn McClain and Jet Tila will blow you away with what they are doing at their Las Vegas restaurants. The bottom line is that if you love to eat and you love to eat well, you will find yourself in your very own foodie inspired utopia on the Las Vegas strip.

5. Las Vegas Places

You here so much about what Las Vegas has to offer as a destination that some things often get lost in the hoopla about fine dining, luxury hotel rooms and fabulous entertainment. Maybe you have always wanted to see the Hoover Dam or climb to the top of Eiffel Tower or even just swim with a few sharks. Las Vegas has that, it also has an erupting volcano, a roller coaster so high in the sky you might be looking down at a few clouds and pools, lots and lots of pools.

6. Weather in Las Vegas

Contrary to popular belief it is not always pool weather in Las Vegas but that is not a bad thing. The pools do stay open deep into October and open back up around early March. The heat gives way to very comfortable temperatures that usually require only a light jacket while roaming the Las Vegas strip. There are some cold days in December and January but cold in Nevada is very relative and if you are accustomed to being snowed in you’ll laugh at what Las Vegas considers cold.

7. Finding Show Tickets in Las Vegas

There are plenty of hot tickets in Las Vegas, try to find a ticket to see Jimmy Buffet and you’ll be searching for awhile, Others shows such as LOVE and Jersey Boys sell out with regularity however, there are plenty of options for finding low cost alternatives as well as half priced tickets to some of the most popular shows on the Las Vegas strip.

8. Affordable Las Vegas

The landscape of Las Vega has changed plenty over the years and for awhile it started getting too expensive for the average visitor to enjoy all that it had to offer. Times have changed and you can now find happy hour specials, buffet deals and coupons and promotions for almost everything on the Las Vegas strip. Room rates have come down and the idea of a Las Vegas vacation has in fact become very affordable again.

9. Things To Do in Las Vegas

You might want to schedule some sleep for after your Las Vegas vacation because the truth is if you want to experience as much as there is on the strip you’ll find it hard to take a break. The nightclubs of Las Vegas will take up your late nights, the restaurants will keep you busy at lunch and dinner and of course with the entertainment options you will have to find a little time to laugh and be amazed with a Las Vegas show. Somehow, you’ll still have to fit in some shopping, some sight seeing and did you forget that you love the feeling of doubling down?

10. Las Vegas Nightlife

When it comes to nightclubs, lounges and bars, Las Vegas has so many you’ll feel as if you should experience every angle possible while on vacation. Unfortunately, that would be tough, instead try a few like XS at Encore or HAZE at Aria where the music keeps you moving, the crowd is always mingling and your idea of nightlife becomes a series of mind boggling outfits, quirky conversations and playful flirtations. Las Vegas nightlife is the reason you’ll be planning your return trip at the airport.
