Riviera Hotel and Casino Las Vegas

What was once one of the gems of Las Vegas now is treated like a second rate budget hotel, but this is to your advantage. The Riviera is located on the North End of the strip so it’s location is a bit of a disadvantage but with Wynn Las Vegas opening close by and the Peppermill lounge next door you can have a lot of fun for a smaller price. Great entertainment, decent food and a spacious casino right on the strip.

Sahara Hotel and Casino

If you are looking for a deal in Las Vegas it can be found at the Sahara. The Casino has been upgraded and the Monorail stops at its doorstep, what else could you want. Oh yeah, low prices and very good gambling. While the Sahara is at the north end of the Strip and a bit isolated, with the addition of the monorail you are a quick trip from all the action. This was once one of the places to be and now you can appreciate the low prices and the original Las Vegas style.

Stratosphere Hotel and Casino

The Stratosphere is on the strip but so far north that it is closer to Downtown than anything else. You can easily find the Stratosphere tower by searching the horizon for a 1200 foot tower. You won’t miss it. The observation deck, upgraded rooms and entertainment make this a great place but it is out of the way.

Treasure Island Hotel and Casino

These days they call themselves the TI and have eliminated the all male pirate battle and replaced it with the sexy female pirate show. Not bad. The hotel still offers very nice rooms along with a large casino and first rate entertainment. Plus, you are in the center of all the action with the Venetian across the street and the Mirage next door. If you want shopping walk across the street to the Fashion Show mall or buy a Ferrari at Wynn Las Vegas on the other corner.

Tropicana Hotel and Casino

The Tropicana cannot be beat for location on the corner of Tropicana and Las Vegas Blvd., its neighbors being the MGM Grand, New York/New York and The Excalibur. The rooms are cheap and you get one of the nicer pools in town. This use to be the “Island of Las Vegas” but time and bigger resorts have reduced this once glittering hotel to a second rate property. However, because standards when up elsewhere the Tropicana has had to keep up and you can still find a very good place to stay at an unbelievable price.

Venetian Hotel and Casino

This is high end Las Vegas where large rooms, large restrooms and big TV’s rule. The Venetian is decked out in every which way. If you want high end shopping they have the Grand Canal Shoppes, if you want high end restaurants they have 15. They are not messing around when they tell you that this is a high quality place to stay. The casino is huge and feels very spacious with high ceilings and an absence of smoke. This is where you can go to die it's so nice.

Wynn Las Vegas

Wynn Las Vegas is about luxury and high end adult fun. From the fine dining to the endless details that define class you will feel as if you have truly arrived when you decide to stay at Wynn Las Vegas.
