Las Vegas Hilton

The Las Vegas Hilton and Casino is located off the strip and has enjoyed a resurgence thanks in large part to the monorail station out front. If you are looking for old Las Vegas class without the tacky décor this is your hotel. The clientele is older and more established and the atmosphere is a rung above your typical casino.

Luxor Las Vegas Hotel and Casino

If you have never been to Las Vegas the Luxor is the type of place where you can experience what Las Vegas has become. The minute you enter your room and its slanted walls you realize that rules do not apply here.

Mandalay Bay Hotel

When you walk into the Mandalay Bay it just feels nice. It does not at all feel like a cheesy Las Vegas hotel, it feels like an oasis in the Southern Nevada desert. Located at the southern end of the Las Vegas strip the Mandalay Bay is the type of resort that is both classy and hip. While the Bellagio may boast the high end everything, the Mandalay Bay exist on its own level of luxury. If you’re looking for great restaurants, great entertainment, incredible pool and Las Vegas gaming action in an elegant and upscale location this is it.

MGM Grand Hotel and Casino

The MGM Grand is just that grand! Everywhere you look information is pouring into your brain and you cannot quite figure out what’s going on. The signs tell you to go left and then right and then oh I'm confused. The hippest clubs, world class eating, amazing spa, large rooms and real life lions. If you want to see Las Vegas and completely immerse yourself in the culture there is no better place to do that than the MGM Grand. This is the mega-resort you have heard of.

Mirage Las Vegas Hotel and Casino

Out front you are greeted by the erupting volcano and the throngs of people lined up to see the free show and inside you will encounter white tigers and sharks. This is still a Mirage in the desert only now it has taken a seat further back relative to the rest of the mega-resorts. The Mirage set the tone for going large and is still the resort that set the standard for everyone to live up to. This is a high end resort with affordable restaurants, large casino and quality accommodations.

Monte Carlo Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas

MGM Mirage
The Monte Carlo is what you could call the best moderately priced hotel in Las Vegas. Its location is ideal near the corner of Tropicana and Las Vegas Blvd. Its neighbors include New York/New York, MGM Grand and the Excalibur. This is the ideal resort for families as it offers fast food for all meals, an exciting and entertaining pool area and corridors that allow children to not have to walk through the casino. The property has a high end feel at mid-level prices.

New York / New York Hotel and Casino

When you see the hotel you cannot imagine how they transformed the New York Skyline into a hotel right on Las Vegas Blvd and then you realize they drove it up the Brooklyn Bridge and right past the Statue of Liberty. The detail that was put into the design of this resort is fabulously Las Vegas. They did get one thing wrong though; the rooms are much larger than a New York City apartment. Apparently, out west people cannot understand city living. If you want to have a drink in Times Square, ride a roller coaster or have a large deli sandwich they have it at New York/New York.

Palazzo Resort - Hotel and Casino

The Palazzo is an extension of the Venetian but seems to have taken the luxury to another level. Walk around the lobby and you get a clear idea that they have raised the bar on Las Vegas luxury resorts.

Paris Las Vegas Hotel and Casino

Think about Paris run by Las Vegas and you can imagine that you get a superb resort with all the Las Vegas trimmings. The rooms at Paris Las Vegas are elegant and the experience becomes like a brief vacation in a foreign land. From the Eiffel Tower to the Crepes at Lenotre this resort gives you a taste of the French with Las Vegas hospitality. If you love French food where else would you go but Paris Las Vegas.

Planet Hollywood Las Vegas Hotel and Casino

With 2500+ rooms the Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino offers a variety of room choices and room rates. Located across the street from the Bellagio and next door to the Paris Las Vegas the Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino is in a great center strip locale. The casino is surrounded by the Miracle Mile which also offer dining and entertainment options.
