Affordable hotels in Las Vegas essentially are those hotels that fit your budget and deliver quality accommodations. They are by no means cheap, but they can be considered budget hotels on a relative scale. These hotels offer accommodations at slightly below the inflated prices of the expensive hotels. Typically their rates can start as low as $50 per night.

1. Planet Hollywood Hotel Las Vegas

The Planet Hollywood hotel and is across the street from the Bellagio and next door to Paris Las Vegas. There are a few good restaurants in the Miracle Mile Shops and one of the best buffets in Las Vegas. This hotel is right at the upper end of affordable bordering on expensive. The location, center strip, is perfect if you love to take in as much of the sight as possible on foot. The heart bar right in the center of the casino is where the action starts and possibly ends.

2. Bally's Hotel and Casino Las Vegas

Bally's Hotel and Casino is centrally located on Flamingo and Las Vegas Blvd. right next to Paris Las Vegas. There is a monorail stop here so you cut back on cab fare and walking time. Everything is close to Bally's and midweek specials can be very good. If you are a fan of the sport book this is your hotel because they have a nice bar and plenty of food option right near th egiant screens.

3. Flamingo Hotel and Casino – Las Vegas

The Flamingo Hotel and Casino is one of the original hotels on the strip. It has gone through a few renovations and it looks good. For a center strip location and an upscale feel the price is very right. The casino can seem a little small but the pool area is nice and the proximity to everything makes this a good choice at an affordable price.

4. New York/New York Hotel and Casino – Las Vegas

The New York/New York Hotel and Casino can be considered expensive at times but the deals you can find on their website help the affordable cause. They have a great food court that helps to keep eating costs down and a spacious casino to help you have a good time. Across from Excalibur, MGM Grand and the Tropicana.

5. Harrah's Hotel and Casino Las Vegas

Harrah's Hotel and Casino is where the loud music seems to be playing all the time. This place has a fun vibe and the atmosphere is fun and free. Drink specials and food deals will make your stay here even more pleasurable. The rooms have been cleaned up and your food options give you plenty to be happy about.

6. Luxor Hotel and Casino Las Vegas

The Luxor Hotel and Casino is between the high end Mandalay Bay and the low end Excalibur and they are connected by a tram and a walkway. This means you can have the best of both worlds for the best possible price. The rooms and portions of the property can feel dated however the nightlife is starting to get very good at the Luxor. Bars like Flight, Aurora and liquidity keep cover costs down LAX will inspire you to were expensive clothes and drinks overpriced vodka.

7. Tropicana Hotel and Casino – Las Vegas

The Tropicana Hotel and Casino is still looking good even as all the big boys opened up around her. The pool is still very nice relative to the rest of the hotels and the rates area always reasonable. This hotel often borders on cheap. Now, some rooms look a bit dated but considering the location and the proximity to Mandalay Bay, MGM Grand and NY/NY it is a steal.
