I really cannot wait to stand out on a terrace looking out onto the Las Vegas strip, catching a view of the Bellagio Fountains and looking all the way up the strip at the sparkling lights and the energy of Las Vegas. When the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas opens this winter that is precisely what you’ll be able to do as the residential style accommodations will have private terraces. I‘ve been looking at those terraces for a couple of years now just waiting to open a bottle of champagne and enjoy the scenery.

What else can you expect at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas?

• Foodies delight as your Las Vegas dining experience will be treated to new projects that will excite you, for example, China Poblano, a Chinese Mexican concept from Chef Jose Andrews. LA chef David Myers will be opening Comme Ca and Greek cuisine hits the Las Vegas strip in the form of Estiatorio Milos by Costas Spiliadis. • I’ve mentioned the terraces but the rooms are set to expand your idea of Las Vegas accommodations. Oversized hotel and condominium style rooms are the norm, with size ranging from 730 square feet all the way up to 5400 square feet. I don’t know about you, but I need my space and this could be my new “go to” property in Las Vegas.

• Sahra Spa and Hammam – You might be thinking I get it there’s a spa but a Hammam? Oh yes, if you‘ve done it you’ll understand why bath houses were once quite popular. If they are co-ed you might find me with permanent residence at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. It’s about a water treatment where the temperatures dictate the experience, where the cleansing can come with a little help from your neighbor. (Well, I should explain that I have not yet experienced the Spa at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, but my previous experiences have been mind altering. • Location, location. The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is right in the center of the action, between the Bellagio Resort and CityCenter. The stunning building fronts Las Vegas blvd. and if you look up you’ll see those terraces I’m dying to spend a lazy afternoon on.
