Each of these hotels offer qualities that can help create a family friendly Las Vegas vacation. Generally, I would stay away from Downtown Las Vegas Hotels for kids as there is much less to entertain the children. Remember, Las Vegas is an adult playground so you might come in contact with smokers, drinkers and scantily clad party goers.

I'm a fan of the Flamingo Las Vegas for an inexpensive hotel in Las Vegas and a place for kids to have fun. The pool has a few slides and there are flamingos running around right outside the buffet. The food options are good and the mid-strip location is also a plus if you want to be mobile with the kids.
