Italian Restaurants in Las Vegas

Scarpetta is the adult equivalent of a kid living on ice cream, it's probably not recommended but it sure would be good. The creamy polenta is one of those dishes that cripple my ability to function. The spaghetti should not have so much action popping off that pasta. The bread basket should not be a highlight. Scarpetta Las Vegas at the Cosmopolitan is dressed up enough to be a fine dining Italian restaurant but the food is very much what a good friend would be serving in his kitchen.

It's affordable, approachable and the food is memorable. D.O.C.G. is why you'll want to eat at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas.

At Martorano’s they must be doing a lot more or maybe just enough of the right stuff because the sauce is dreamy and the meatballs are a treat.

Whenever I have a meal that really makes me feel good about a chef's ability to make simple good food I have my 9 year old try it. "Oh, that marinara is soooo good!" His words drove me to try the Marinara for a third time.

I will not go so far as to say that this is real authentic South Philly food, but I will say that a friend from Philadelphia commented to me about how he could see so much of the neighborhood he grew up in, in the atmosphere of Martorano’s at the Rio Hotel in Las Vegas.

Batali and Bastianich, the B & B in the name of the place. One makes good food the other knows fine wine. If there is one thing you should not miss is the pairing menus at B&B.

The restaurant is a homage to Frank Sinatra and Chef Theo Schoenegger does his best Sinatra impression thought his impressive talents in the kitchen.

The bounty of Italy is reflected in the wine cellar, which contains over 1,500 bottles of Italian and Californian wine.

The room is set in modern tones that make you feel like you should have opted for more stylish clothing. However, the lighting is such that I am sure I look both younger and thinner when eating at Fiamma.

Italian restaurants always work because most kids will eat either pasta or pizza. They are both good at Caffe Giorgio and the adult food is worth a visit.

If you want to fell like you have died and gone to Venice this is the place. As a Gondola goes by and the music fills the air lean over and think of something sweet to say. It always works.

Sure pasta gets old for the kids and can they really have any more pizza? Il Fornaio has plenty on the menu to keep the adults happy and a decent selection for kids at a reasonable price

Maggiano’s is located in the Fashion Show Mall and has a tremendous view of the North Las Vegas Strip and the Wynn Las Vegas. Large windows give this dining room an open, airy feeling and the setting is upscale and comfortable. However, the menu lends itself to being a family restaurant and the prices cannot be beat for larger groups
