Pro: location, safety, check out/in, customer service

Con: I thought the corridor carpets needed to be shampooed

The rooms have a great room view and are exceptionally clean. This hotel, like the Five Seasons, is located toward the end of the strip where there's less transient traffic; therefore, you feel safer. You can take the Tram (a free rail line) between Mandalay Bay, the Luxor and Excalibur after this point you can take the monorail ($9.00/all day) from the MGM Grand to most other parts of the strip.

I can only says that the rooms were exquisite - akin to an upscale home. Just be careful about removing items from the courtesy bar. There's a sensor which indicates that the product has been moved (used) and you could be charged for just picking them up. Check your online screen account.

Room service and the service desk have the most pleasant staff. I tipped well because of the amiable comfort they provided.

All casinos are smoky to the point of disgusting for non-smokers but The Venetian, Bellagio and Mandalay Bay (The) has some of the least smokiest casino.

I would use The Hotel or Mandalay Bay again again.

P.S. Travel during the month of October - the weathers not too cold or too hot.
