The Flamingo is a great hotel in the middle of the strip. The prices are great and we liked the casual atmosphere compared to some of the more "upscale" megaresorts nearby. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Room service was quick and friendly. Maid service was great.
Nice variety of restaurants to choose from. Pools are enormous, beautiful and fun but lounge chairs are very difficult to get unless you want to wait in line before the pool even opens. Unfortunately we didn't stumble onto the over 21 only pool until our last day there! Grounds are lush and the flamingos and other wildlife were a welcome sight amidst all the neon in Vegas.
Information in the hotel rooms was a great help on where to go and what to see since this was my first trip to Las Vegas. I would absolutely stay there again.
