If you are alone find a seat at the bar and order a Blueberry Mojito, ask for Chris, he takes great care in serving up the right cocktail. I tried the Filet Tartare and it was impressive. It reminded me of a cleaned up ceviche, with beef, of course. The Bacon Wrapped Lobster Fritters go well with a beer simply because deep fried and bacon should be helped along with a decent microbrew. $9 gets you a few oysters as well and you get to enjoy the atmosphere.
If you are attending a conference at the Mandalay Bay Hotel, StripSteak for Happy Hour is convenient and you most likely will see some familiar faces. Stripsteak is on the route back to the hotel and is perfect for a place to recap the days events or unwind after a series of sessions where the speaker forgot that people have short attention spans.
