Sangrita Recipe to Go Along with your Tequila

Having a little Sangrita with your tequila once was the norm when the quality of Tequila was not as good as it is today but it is still a great way to enjoy tequila. Sip a premium tequila alongside some Sangrita and you'll enhance the flavor of the Tequila. There are plenty of variations on the Sangrita recipe, this one is one I sampled while involved in a tequila certification course with the Consejo Regulador del Tequila (Tequila Regulatory Council) at Dos Camino Las Vegas at the Palazzo Resort, Hotel and Casino on the Las Vegas strip.

Sangrita Recipe from Cazadores Tequila

Tequila CAZADORES® Reposado Completo
Serve Tequila CAZADORES® Reposado accompanied by traditional Mexican Sangrita
1 part Tequila CAZADORES® Reposado
1 part tomato juice
1/2 part orange juice
1/2 part lime juice
3 dashes of hot sauce

Pour Tequila CAZADORES® Reposado into a glass.
Shake remaining ingredients with ice and strain into a separate glass. Serve side by side.
