Feeling Refreshed with this Cazuela Recipe

If you have not had a Cazuela you owe it to yourself to have one by the pool or if you are in need of that feeling you get when you sit by the pool and all your worries seem to fade away. It's refreshing, it's light and the right amount of fruit really transports you to a white sand beach where the water is warm and the drinks are cold. Make sure to use Reposado Tequila as it really helps the flavor along.

There are plenty of variations on the Cazuela recipe, this one is one I sampled while involved in a tequila certification course with the Consejo Regulador del Tequila (Tequila Regulatory Council) at Dos Camino Las Vegas at the Palazzo Resort, Hotel and Casino on the Las Vegas strip.

Cazuela Recipe from Cazadores Tequila
TEQUILA CAZADORES® CAZUELA
1 1/2 parts Tequila Cazadores® Reposado
1 slice of lime
1 slice of lemon
1 slice of orange
1 slice of grapefruit
Grapefruit flavor soda (Squirt or Fresca) Muddle the fruit, add the tequila and shake with ice.
Top with grapefruit flavor soda. Serve over the rocks.
