Walking in Las Vegas
As I try to depict what a long walk in Las Vegas can get you, I realize that the summer heat and a few stiff drinks don't add to a great deal of enjoyment when walking three miles. AS you go through the following walking tour/picture gallery, keep in mind that you should only try this if you have readied yourself with a night of gambling, eating and maybe a few cocktails.
Distance from starting point - 0.8 mile
Across the street from the New York/New York Hotel and Casino you can find the Largest Lion in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand. If you find yourself here you might as well walk in and have a drink. I did. Well, maybe two. Personally, if it was a little later I would have had some gumbo over at Emeril’s Fish House. Instead I had a Manhattan and a half and my wife had two waters.
