What to expect
The rooms are small but comfortable and the hotel is located right on Fremont Street. This hotel is legendary because of the World Series of Poker. Do not expect to be wowed. This is still old school Las Vegas and the casino has those low ceilings and dark corners that you no longer find on the strip.
What you might like:
The hotel is a bargain to stay at and the rooms are clean. You won’t find all the extra stuff you might get on the strip but you will be surprised at the room for the low cost. The coffee shop serves good food for great prices and the poker room is where it all began.
What you might not like:
The casino seems cramped at times and the smoke can get overwhelming on a busy night. The walk back to the maze of hallways can be troublesome after a long night on the town.

My suggestion:
Buy in at a poker table and get that feeling of playing in the big one. Have a late night meal in the coffee shop and then walk out to Fremont Street and see the free show. Check out the poker tournament schedule

Rooms:354, small but comfortable rooms with all the basic things you need but none of the extras. In other words bring your own shampoo and soap because there is no guarantee that their will be some in the room.
