Hotels in Downtown Las Vegas

Downtown Las Vegas is where the lights shine bright and the great deals still can be found. The glitter gulch is home to cheap food, low price hotel rooms and low limit gambling.
Golden Nugget Las Vegas
The jewel of downtown is the Golden Nugget. It's shiny, it has a spectacular pool and it has downtown prices.
Main Street Station Las Vegas - Main Street Station Downtown Las Vegas
Just two blocks off of downtown Las Vegas' iconic Fremont Street, cozy Main Street Station (at 406 rooms, it's on the small side for Vegas) offers bargain rates without that down-at-the-heel feel you get from some of Downtown's properties.
Fremont Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas - Fremont Hotel Downtown Las Vegas
The Fremont defined downtown Las Vegas when it opened as the city's first high-rise in 1956 (Mr. Las Vegas himself, Wayne Newton, launched a career in the Fremont's erstwhile Carousel Showroom). Recent renovations have added some boutique-hotel touches and modernized the 447 rooms,

Located near the Fremont Street Experience, this classic mid-sized hotel and casino offers all the Vegas standards.
Golden Gate Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas
This landmark casino, started by an Italian-American business group from San Francisco more than 50 years ago, preserves the classic charm of the Vegas golden years.
Four Queens Hotel and Casino
This is downtown Las Vegas accommodations. The rooms are clean but small and far from fancy. The casino is old school and can be smoky but average for downtown.
Fitzgerald's Hotel and Casino Las Vegas
Everything seems a little older than you would wish for but still in working order. It’s convenient and cheap. If you are not into luxury and just need a place to stay in Downtown this could work.
El Cortez Hotel Downtown Las Vegas
This is a low end property to say the least. You might be put off by the sleazy characters that hang out around the outside but the area is starting to get cleaned up so you might see an improvement soon.
California Hotel-Casino Downtown Las Vegas
The California club caters to Hawaiians so do not be surprised if you get that island feel. The Cal is a small place with character that can be had for a very good price.
Binion's Gambling Hall & Hotel - Downtown Las Vegas
The rooms are small but comfortable and the hotel is located right on Fremont Street. This hotel is legendary because of the World Series of Poker. Do not expect to be wowed. This is still old school Las Vegas and the casino has those low ceilings and dark corners that you no longer find on the strip.
