My idea of a perfect meal in Las Vegas usually revolves around a full bodied bottle of red wine and a huge piece of beef with a slight tinge of pink right in the center. These are some of the best steakhouses in Las Vegas. With the ever changing Las Vegas dining scene there are always additions to those places I consider my favorites. These are just a sampling of the options on the Las Vegas strip.

1. Carnevion Steakhouse at Palazzo Las Vegas

It's not fair to anyone to include Carnevino in this list of steakhouses for the simple reason that it is in a league of its own. Carnevino will reset your palate. It will make you think that all beef is bad if it is not from Carnevino. I can't argue with them because they are doing it right.
2. The Range at Harrah's Las Vegas

This is my surprise pick. This is the Las Vgeas steakhouse that you might not find on a list anywhere. However, I stand behind the simple fact that the experience you get at The Range will make you return. The view of the strip is fabulous and the atmosphere is comfortable and classy. take a look at the menu and look for the hidden treasures. Don't go straight for the obvious choices and you will be surprised. Steak in Las Vegas can be relatively affordable and you'll find that at this steakhouse.
3. Jean Georges Steakhouse at ARIA Resort at CityCenter Las Vegas
You'll find that you feel just a little more hip when you are at Jean Georges Steakhouse at ARIA. It might be the room is laid out just right or the perfect lighting. Or it could be the fact that the food is quite impressive and your friends are impressed by your restaurant selection. Jean Georges is on the promenade level at ARIA Resort at CityCenter and it's your spot for steak in Vegas as a romantic date or an upscale night out. If you can fit it in you have to consider the Tomahawk steak.
4. STK Las Vegas
Cocktails and beef. I really do not need much else until you introduce me to the DJ in the room and the server who is charming and funny and has a sexy swagger. Before you know it I'm considering lounging at STK all night and wondering just how many drinks I can fit in at the bar before I have to head to a club. This is a sexy steakhouse and steak in Vegas never felt so naughty.
5. SW at Wynn Las Vegas

Are you ready for a steak experience at Wynn Las Vegas. At Wynn you should expect some of the finest Las Vegas has to offer and SW Steakhouse is not going to disappoint. Have a seat, order a drink, look out at the waterfall and then do a culinary dance with a fine piece of beef. This is a fancy steak in Vegas but it is quite comfortable and you'll want to return soon.
6. Strip Steak at Mandalay Bay Hotel Las Vegas

There is no reason you should have a bad steak in Las Vegas. Michael Mina is making that a possibility by infusing the dining scene with technology. Strip Steak features two wood-burning grills and six circulating, slow-poaching chambers that enable your steak to arrive at your table after a journey that has given your meal some intense flavor.
7. Morels French Steakhouse and Bistro at the Palazzo Las Vegas
If you love steak you will clearly be in bovine heaven as Morels features quality cuts from the dry aged to the Japanese Wagyu. You’ll also be treated to an array of cheese selections that will have you drinking wine and sampling some of the tastiest fromage you have ever set on your tongue.
8. Botero at Encore Las Vegas
Botero Steak is an example of the future of Las Vegas. It’s modern, it’s a little bit of yesterday’s opulence with a whole lot of today’s style. Consider a place where you can have a fine meal and then expand your evening into an experience in Las Veas nightlife.
