The Best Late Night Meal in Las Vegas

By , About.com Guide

After the club scene cools off you need to re-energize with a decent meal so you might want to have a list of options. Toucan Harry's at the Stardust was once my favorite spot for the very late night meal, these days I have my meal of Bourbon and ice at any bar that will serve me. You on the other hand should have a slice of pizza.

Start planning your trip to Las Vegas by researching prices with Kayak.com and Southwest Airlines Vacations. They should give you a good idea of what you can expect to spend on a Las Vegas vacation.

The Secret Pizza at Cosmopolitan Hotel Las Vegas

Walk down a quite hallway into a tiny room with a counter, a few chairs and a few guys tossing pizzas. It's simple, no frills and some decent pizza late at night at the Cosmopolitan Hotel.

First Food and Bar at the Palazzo Las Vegas

Far and away the best place for a late night meal in Las Vegas. You'll order the mini-burgers and a beer and then finish the night off with some donuts. The kitchen is open until way past your bedtime.

La Cave For Upscale Yet Still Casual Late Night Vegas Eats

A glass of wine or a micro brew and a few selections from the menu that includes quite a few sharing plates will make this a new favorite for you and a few friends. La Cave is comfortably casual and if you have spent anytime at Wynn Las Vegas in the past you know that there was always a need for a place where you could really feel casual amongst the opulence. The kitchen stays open late so you can walk over from Tryst or XS or make a reservation for after Le Reve and keep the night going.

It's a lounge so you'll actually kill two birds with one stone here. End your night at the bar with a scorpion by the fire and then stroll over the the coffee house and fill up on a stack of pancakes and coffee. That's Vegas, Baby!

Raffles at Mandalay Bay Hotel

It's a coffee shop but it's the Mandalay Bay and they do most things right. Late night meal should consist of either the Marbled Rye Pastrami or the club sandwich. They soak up a lot of the alcohol and they get you comfortable for the morning wake up call. You can also opt for the Belgian waffle but that might throw you off for the real breakfast you'll be having in a few hours.

Binion's Coffee Shop

Play poker for most of the night and then walk over and have a steak and some sourdough toast. It's old school and the prices are still very reasonable. Downtown Las Vegas still gives you the bargains you need to keep the trip under budget.

Prime Rib any time. Need I say anything else? Centrally located, friendly people and good food. If you are a fan of late night beef this is where you will be, period. Walk out of Drai's and step into the Victorian room. Order some sourdough toast, just because it seems to always be extra good.

If you won't make it there before they close just pick up a Woody Allen and put it in a safe place for later. Huge sandwiches make for perfect late night meals and this much Pastrami and Corned Beef will satisfy your craving for the salted cured meats for awhile.
