Making a Gibson

By Zeke Quezada, About.com

I am not a fan of olives in my Martini but I could bathe in Olive oil. I don't know. I love a filthy martini, you know the martinin with too much cocktail onion juice. Not sure why. The Gibson is a Dry martini without olives, plain and simple. I should warn you , if yo0u plan on ordering a few of these make sure you're wearing clean underwear. You really never can what will happen.

Ingredients:

  • ice cubes
  • 2 1/2 measures of gin
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dry vermouth
  • 2 cocktail onions

Preparation:

A few cubes in a shaker with the gin and the vermouth make this drink perfect. Drop the onions into a glass and strain the liquid. Oh yeah!
