It's time! CityCenter is opening up on the Las Vegas strip and there is so much to be excited about that you will be exploring for a few days. When you are done exploring the restaurants, bars and nightlife will keep you very entertained. If you can imagine the magic of Dean, Frank and Sammy on the strip, well CityCenter is the new generation of excitement in Las Vegas.
1. CityCenter Las Vegas Overview
Get a full dose of what is in store for you at CityCenter Las Vegas. Restaurants, hotels, casino, bars, shopping and a very impressive art venture. This is the most exciting thing to happen to Las Vegas since the transformation of the strip by the erupting volcano at the Mirage.
2. ARIA Resort and Casino
As you check in, high above you you'll see the artistic interpretation of the Colorado River. The natural light that can be seen from the casino is very un-Vegas. The restaurants that tempt you seem to be a fantasy created by a culinary dreamer. The space, the decor, the design and the atmosphere. ARIA Resort at CityCenter is not at all like the Vegas that you know now. It is all about the new Las Vegas.
3. Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas at CityCenter Las Vegas
Check in on the 23rd floor with a view of Las Vegas unlike anything you have seen so far on the strip. All that is changing at Mandarin Oriental brings a new level of service to Las Vegas and changes the face of a hotel stay with a new non-gamimg hotel that caters to the discerning traveler.
4. Vdara Hotel Las Vegas
The all suite experience that has been missing from Las Vegas is at Vdara. Full kitchen, non-gaming and luxury. Everything about Vdara will make you forget you are in the casino capital of the world. The art in the lobby coupled with the lounge and the restaurant will make you feel as if you are removed from the excitement just a few feet away on the Las Vegas strip. You get the best of both worlds at Vdara Hotel at CityCenter Las Vegas.
5. CityCenter Las Vegas Art Collection
This public art collection is very impressive but the truth is you will be more impressed by how so much art is found throughout CityCenter. Everywhere you look you seem to find a masterpiece. This is not the stuff that is found on your refrigerator door. World Class artist are making a mark on the Las Vegas art scene with a display that will be hard to match.
6. Viva Elvis at CityCenter
For me Elvis is still synonymous with Las Vegas. Take your Celine Dion, Bette and the Showgirls. Well, I'll take the showgirls, but the King is the King and in Las Vegas I still want to sing Viva Las Vegas as I stroll along the craps tables. CityCenter is the home of "Viva Elvis" a new show by Cirque du Soleil that is essentially a tribute to Elvis Presley and the music that influenced so much of what we listen to today. When I get excited about CityCenter Las Vegas I cannot contain myself at the thought of a modern show in Las Vegas that is all about Elvis Presley and his music.
