People ask me all the time about the bus service in Las Vegas and whether they should consider getting a bus pass while on vacation on the Las Vegas strip. The simple answer is no, you don't need a bus pass but you can utilize the public transportation options in Las Vegas.

You must consider the time of day but taking a bus on the Las Vegas strip can save you some time and money on cab fares. However, you must realize that if you get on a bus on a Friday night you might as well take a nap because you will never get to where you are going in time.

While the Las Vegas strip is one of my favorite places to stroll and people watch you might be more inclined to get somewhere with less energy. For you, the bus works and if you are patient while on vacation you should have no problem getting around using the bus service on the Las Vegas strip. The Duece is a double deck bus that goes up an down the Las Vegas strip 24 hours a day.
