Cheap food for Spring Break in Las Vegas

Where You Will Eat For Spring Break

By , About.com Guide

So you could only sell back half of your books and the bookstore said you had a couple of outstanding "debts" no worries, I'll direct you to a few places to get a decent meal and still save some money while in Las Vegas. Let's face it, you will need to stay hydrated at the pools and clubs of Las Vegas.

Before you plan your break check out these tips

1. The Best Pizza in Las Vegas at D.O.C.G. at the Cosmopolitan Hotel

It's the best pizza on the strip and it also happens to be cheap and in a cool place to have a meal. Sit in the area directly outside the restaurant and the people watching is fabulous as well. If you find a date this is where you'll go and you won't feel like a penny pinching cheapskate.

2. KGB at Harrah's Las Vegas

You'll get a decent burger and a few vodka drinks, Harrah's also has plenty of low limit tables so that after your meal you can win your money right back and spend your money on the important things like buckets of beer and chicken wings.

3. Hussong's Cantina at the Mandalay Bay Las Vegas

Chips, salsa and Mexican beer, is there really anything else you need for a meal in Las Vegas. Split some tacos with someone else and you'll be fine. In fact just ask for extra chips right when you sit down, this way you'll be less prone to over order.

4. Pizzeria Francesco's at the Treasure Island Las Vegas

$10 gets you two slices and a beer. That ios reason enough for you to head there but the other reason is that it is quick, easily to get in and out and right around the corner from the pool at the Treasure Island Hotel.

5. Affordable Italian at Bacio at Tropicana Las Vegas

You don't need fancy, you like simple Italian and you want to save a little cash on dinner. Bacio Pasta & Vino is a good fit. The menu is simple and you'll be sure to keep the cost down. You could add in the Veal Scallopini ($25) if you want to share with someone and the cost is still affordable.

6. IN-N-OUT Burger Las Vegas

If you don't mind onion breath this is the cheapest option for a burger and fries. The only problem is that it is slightly off the strip on Tropicana. You can walk there from the strip but it might be a bit of an inconvenience.

7. The Secret Pizza Place at The Cosmopolitan Hotel

It's hidden away but not because it's bad or anything like that, it's just as if they wanted to keep some secret from the rest of the people who are the know. You can get pizza by the slice and a few craft beers and then walk around as if you know something other people don't.

8. Stripburger at the Fashion Show Mall

Beers, burgers and people watching right on the Las Vegas strip. Located at the edge of the Fashion show mall with outdoor seating, music and television screens this is the type of place that screams "Spring Break mayhem!"

9. Table 10 at Palazzo

So you want a real meal? You're on spring break, that won't happen but you can get something close at Table 10 at the Palazzo. You will be restricted to what you can order if you are trying to keep the costs down but it is worth a visit.

10. The Food Courts at the Venetian Hotel

This is your best option for cheap food court grub. There are plenty of options and at the food court in the hotel the options go beyond the simple fast food outlets.
