Restaurant : Serendipity 3 at Caesars Palace Las Vegas

Pro: Menu choices, frozen hot coco

Con: service, hostesses

Restaurant Review:
The decor and uniforms were about the cheeriest things in this place. I was met on the strip with a coupon for a BOGO margarita/beer from an interestingly dressed girl on the strip. The hostess didn't seem to glad to see us and then balked when we asked to stay inside for refuge from heat. Another hostess seemed to be bothered that I would ask about the status of our table after waiting near 20 mins after our buzzer didn't buzz.

The food was good. Interesting choices and menu options with really generous portions. The service was particularly deplorable. The server didn't seem to know very much about the menu and kept threatening us with upcharges (not an issue with us). She failed to put an order in then tried to play it off like it wasn't ready. When we decided to cancel, she asked, "Do you want to see the manager?" as if she knew that her service was poor too!

Our experience was saved when we went to the side window to order our frozen hot coco from a friendlier person who apologized and encouraged us to come back the next day. The frozen coco really was delightful, the PB/coco was my favorite. I might return. I'll just be on the lookout for mismatched smiles with faces.:O(
