What to expect at Caesars Palace Las Vegas: Caesars Palace is Las Vegas. Period. It is the original themed hotel and casino and the service and quality they provide has always been at the top. Located in the center of all the action Caesars Palace will overwhelm you with its size and its grandeur. The hotel rooms are spacious and the newer towers all have the latest gadgets that make you want to stay in your room the entire time. Dining at Caesars includes restaurants by Bradley Ogden and Bobby Flay, world class entertainment with Bette Midler, Cher and Elton John and of course the Forum Shops at Caesars for outstanding shopping. It’s hard to avoid Caesars Palace when you visit Las Vegas.

What you might like at Caesars Palace Las Vegas: The Forum shops are clearly the jewel of Caesars Palace with great restaurants and shopping options for every taste. The new Augustus Tower will impress you with its large flat screen TV’s and opulent restrooms. Eating at Spago for lunch and the Mesa Grill for dinner with a little Cher sandwiched in between. There is so much to do.

What you might not like at Caesars Palace Las Vegas: The prices at Caesars Palace are still on the rise, it is an expensive place to stay and to play. The crowds can also be a bit annoying as you walk through the casino. People funnel in from the Forum shops and the north end of the casino can get crowded.

My suggestion:

Spend a few hours watching a game at the sports book or relaxing at the pools. Both of these locations are examples of the extra attention to detail that Caesars Palace employs when catering to its guests. A heated pool in the middle of winter and large chairs for lounging in the sports book can accent any day at Caesars Palace. When you’re done relaxing have a bottle of wine and people watch at Spago in the Forum Shops. Spago maybe one of the best deals in Las Vegas.

Do you like Poker? The Poker room at Caesars palace is large and always has a game going. Daily tournaments allow you to brush up on your tournament playing skills and give you a chance to play for larger payouts.

Rooms at Caesars Palace Hotel and Casino: 3000+ and each of them are appointed nicely. Even if you are in the oldest tower, the Centurion, you still have a spacious room that has been upgraded from its original look. The newer towers offer some of the largest rooms on the strip and some of the most lavish. The large baths are impressive and the views from the huge windows will make you want to sleep with the curtain wide open. Keep an eye out for the extra fancy stuff that ends up in your restroom and soon in your luggage such as fine shampoo, hand lotion and a nice toothbrush. The rates can start at around $120 but I would expect closer to $175 on average.
