The CityCenter Fine Art Collection is the first major permanent collection to be integrated into a public space and it is ready for viewing by the general public.
Look up as they give you your room key and what you are looking at is the artists' depiction of the Colorado River. The piece commands your attention high above the check -in area at Aria and is set against large window that allow the natural light to come in bounce rays of the shiny finish.
Reclining Connected Forms measures approximately 10 feet tall by 17 feet long by 7 feet deep. It is said to be a primary example of the theme of his life’s work which were inspired by the fundamentals of human experience. His signature form is a reclining figure of which he is said to have been influenced by the ancient cultures of Egypt and pre-Columbian Mexico.
Located outside of the Vdara Hotel and the North Valet of Aria, Nancy Rubin's piece is a perfect fit for this space. The artwork holds its own among the towers of CityCenter.

Circle of Life and Earth are best viewed from the pedestrian walkway on the south side of CityCenter Place. At the base of each tower Richard Long has created two pieces of art that are large and framed by the architecture f the Veer Towers.
Sitting in front of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, this piece of Art is visible to all who walk into CityCenter from the Las Vegas strip.
CityCenter represents a diversion from the norm on the Las Vegas strip and for me at least Vegas by Jenny Holzer allows the lights of Las Vegas to take on new meaning.

These bird sculptures from the French artist have been moved from their original location in front of Crystals and they are being placed in a more prominent location at CityCenter.
