Just about 20 minutes from the Las Vegas strip Red Rock Canyon is a great way to see the other side of Southern Nevada. Climb and hike amongst the sandstone cliffs and take a look at the fauna of the Southwest. The temperatures are generally similar to what you find in the greater Las Vegas valley.
