What it’s like at The Bar at Times Square: If you are in the casino and you hear a lot of commotion, it is either coming from the craps table or the Bar at Times Square. When the piano’s get fired up the entertainment gets going. This is one of the best bargains in town, no cover charge and you can have a fantastic time as a very festive atmosphere develops as people start singing to songs you are embarrassed to know the words to.
Suggestions for the Bar at Times Square: Get there early on a weekday and get a table for free. Have a few drinks and plan on staying longer than you would normally stay at a bar. Once things get going you might start writing down your favorite song on a napkin and passing it along to the piano players. One thing though, how many times do we have to hear Gloria Gaynor’s, I Will Survive? Please, refrain.
