What it’s like at Central By Michel Richard at Caesars Palace Las Vegas?
The space right near the check-in desk at Caesars Palace has been transformed into an airy, modern and casual spot that just so happens to serve a new version of American café favorites with a French twist.
How’s the food at Central By Michel Richard at Caesars Palace Las Vegas?
Michel Richard knows his way around a kitchen and if his restaurants in Washington D.C. are any indication of what is possible, Las Vegas can expect some inspired American dishes at a 24 hour café. That is usually not the norm for a casino coffee shop but then again the coffee shop doesn’t usually have a star chef either.
What you should try Central By Michel Richard at Caesars Palace Las Vegas:
- Fried Chicken with Smashed Potatoes – I’m a sucker for smashed potatoes and there is just enough butter in these to make me dip my chicken into the mashies over and over again.
- Cherry Tomato and Burrata Mozerella – The tomatoes are so sweet and the cheese is to die for. It almost taste like a fresh and healthy meal until you realize that the Burrata is so good because it packs in the those fabulous calories. You’re on vacation, treat yourself.
- Chinese Chicken Salad – Yes, I’m putting a salad down as something you should try simply because there are times when you are done with the complicated meals and you want simple, fresh yet savory and sweet. This salad is that and a bit more.
- The Burger – I have to mention the burger because it is above average for the strip. I want to tell you that the lobster burger is good but at $32 it is priced out of my ideal casual restaurant budget.
- Brussels Sprouts with Bacon – Bacon on anything is good but roasted with a little butter makes these Brussels sprouts dance. They scream simplicity and perfection. I will be recreating this just to impress the wife.
- Michel’s Chocolate Bar – If you have nothing else this is what you should be looking for. Essentially it looks like a giant Kit Kat with better chocolate and a crispier base.
Don’t forget breakfast at Central By Michel Richard.
Eggs, bacon, hash browns for $10 is a deal in Las Vegas. This will soon be one of the best spots on the Las Vegas strip for your morning boost of calories.
