What it’s like at BOA Steakhouse Las Vegas?
The dining room at Boa is not large but the space is utilized efficiently enough that you get a classy steakhouse feeling without feeling cramped. The subdued light lends a bit of a romantic feel if that is what you are looking for but not so much that the boys can't decide to head in for a piece of beef before the bachelor party. Have yourself a Dapper Gent and spend a bit more time perusing the menu and you’ll feel relaxed enough to order a bottle of wine and slowly melt away the evening. While BOA is an upscale steakhouse in Las Vegas the attitude has been stripped away and you get very good service from a welcoming staff and a good meal.
How’s the food at BOA Steakhouse Las Vegas?
BOA serves steak so you really cannot go wrong when you order the steak, do not however, think that you’ll go in and order something other than the beef and have a bad meal, it just will not be extraordinary. Now, I should mention that I tried the spaghetti and Kobe meatballs and I was very impressed and the Linguine and clams were actually above average. Once again, I’ll mention once more order the steak! Each time I have had a cut of beef at BOA Steakhouse I have been pleased with not only the preparation but also the adherence to my instructions. With sauce, without, extra peppercorn or Foie Gras Butter, while it may sound silly far too often servers simply forget the small details of your order. Just use a pen and paper, please!
Plenty of people do steak in Las Vegas and BOA does it just as good as any on the strip. You should expect a certain level of quality and service at BOA to coincide with the price.
What you should try at BOA Steakhouse Las Vegas:
- 40 Day Dry Aged New York Strip – Order it medium and add in the Grilled Jumbo Asparagus. Have one glass of red wine and your meal will come as close to perfection as is reasonably possible.
- Rib Eye – Yes, I am a sucker for a well marbled piece of beef. The flavors that slowly make their way from the steak and into your mouth will make you weep for vegetarians. That is not fat you are tasting that is just natures way of passing along the nutrients the cow gave up especially for you.
- The Burger – If you are in at lunch the burger is a formidable challenger to others on the strip. Not the best but very good.
- 12 Hour Smoked Kobe Brisket – This is new on the menu and the beef crumbles apart and the j-1 sauce is going to cripple you.
- Appetizer – Goat Cheese Baklava – Listen up, I do not enjoy goat cheese and I am saying that this appetizer is outstanding. It’s flaky, it’s sweet, it’s delightful and you’ll most likely consider ordering another.
