What it’s like at Nine Fine Irishmen?

Nine Fine Irishmen at the New York - New York Hotel and Casino is a surprising place. When the live entertainment gets going and the drinks are flowing it might be one of the best places in Las Vegas for a meal. It’s a pub with class, there are small corners where you could possibly have a conversation but for the most part it is a festive place to have a meal. Upstairs the noise level is bit more subdued but the action seems to be on the first floor. Walk in on any given night and you will see people having a good time while enjoying a few beers and a hearty meal.

If you really want to have a beer and share some intimate secrets find a booth upstairs and cram in and talk. When you're done walk down stairs and live it up at the bar. If you want a little action the bar at Nine Fine Irishmen will get it to you.

How’s the food at Nine Fine Irishmen?

Can you find more authentic Irish food, I’m sure, but what I do not believe you can find is the quality, the ambiance and the energy in another Irish Pub in Las Vegas. The food is so good I felt as if I should be enjoying my meal with a bottle of fine wine. (Instead, I made myself suffer by drinking one of each: Guinness, Harp and a Smithwicks) If you decide on an appetizer the chances of you finishing your entrée will greatly diminish. The portions are very ample but the flavors are so vibrant that you don’t stop eating. A quick suggestion would be the sausage pail and beer, if you were looking for a little more from an appetizer I would try the Steak and Stout. The soups will easily fill you and the entrée’s are large enough to share.
