About the Riviera Hotel and Casino: This classic resort’s star has dimmed plenty since Liberace cut the grand-opening ribbon in 1955. Today, most flock for the gambling (at more than 100,000 square feet, the Riv’s casino is among the world’s largest), the reasonable room rates, or to catch one of the famous adult-themed shows (like the topless Crazy Girls revue).
Pre-show dining: Rustic Tuscan is on the menu at the group-friendly Ristorante Italiano, while Kristofer's Steak House specializes in finer surf and turf. The Mardi Gras Food Court is good for a quick catch-all bite.
