Description: Don’t call him an impersonator. Self-taught pianist Wes Winters is a tribute artist, bringing to life the late Liberace’s showmanship and virtuosity with gusto – and ruffles, sequins and a 9-foot mirrored grand piano. This long-running show started out at Las Vegas’ Liberace Museum and now calls home the Steve Wyrick Theatre at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino's Miracle Mile Shops.
Show times: 1 p.m. daily, except Monday and Friday
Ticket information: General admission is $29 plus taxes and service charges; there’s also a $39 Crystal VIP package with perks like preferred seating and a Winters meet-and-greet. Buy tickets by calling (702) 650-5081, or half price tix, or in person at the Steve Wyrick Theatre box office.
About Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino: Not to be confused with the Planet Hollywood restaurant at Caesar’s Palace, this resort casino smack in the center of the Strip is larger than life. It boasts movie-themed rooms, a massive gaming area, and an array of shopping and dining options, including the Miracle Mile Shops, where the Steve Wyrick Theatre is located.
Pre-show dining: The Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino has imported legendary restaurants from New York and Los Angeles, so you’re spoiled for choice: Try upscale Japanese at Koi, top-drawer beef at the Strip House, and even hot dogs from Pink’s. P.F. Chang’s China Bistro and the Spice Market Buffet remain long-standing favorites.
