Las Vegas Bachelor Party



I have never been a big fan of the bachelor party. Personally, if you need to have one last fling before you get married maybe you have made your final choice prematurely. So, when I got married I opted for a ski trip with the guys. Actually, one guy, and I ended up skiing alone for the better part of the day. It was June 28th, 1995 and I went to the top of the mountain and skied down in shorts. That was my last hurrah as a single guy. Not that exciting.

So when I got the call from a friend to take part in his younger brother’s last chance at freedom I made the mature choice. I booked an extra night at the hotel just in case I would have a problem driving back to L.A. Too many Manhattans often bring on an intense need for sleeping. Not that it has ever happened to me.

I won’t mention names or locations only because to do so would get a few married guys in trouble. My wife knows the full story, but a few of the other guys have not been so forthcoming with information.

A quick note for women who are reading this: Men do not usually leave out the important details of significant events to save their skin. They are almost always as honest as possible when narrating the events of the past evening.

Let me begin by saying that this picture is essentially where the story begins. You see what you are looking at is exactly what the Bachelor was looking at when the story got interesting.
