Holiday Song and Dance Extravaganza hosted by star of stage and screen Jeff Trachta
Las Vegas annual holiday production, The Las Vegas Christmas Celebration, starring internationally acclaimed actor and entertainer Jeff Trachta, returns to the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino.
The full-scale production show presented by the Rio, Dick Foster Productions and Coca Colaä brings singing, dancing and sidesplitting comedy to the 700-seat Scinta Showroom Dec. 13-25. Performances are 7:30 p.m. Saturday-Friday (dark Thursday), with special matinee performances at 3:30p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 24 and Thursday, Dec. 25. Tickets are $29.95 plus tax, and available at the Rio Box Office.
Trachta brings heart-warming humor, a stellar voice and a wide variety of incredible character impersonations to the stage, surrounding his audiences with a familiar repertoire of Christmas cheer. Trachta, most recognized for his role as Thorne Forrester on CBS The Bold and the Beautiful, takes audiences on a musical and comedic journey of Christmas merriment, highlighted by a host of special guests, including the Rio Christmas dancers. The Jerry Lopez Band (currently featured in Clint Holmes world class show) accompanies the festive Christmas production.
Audiences will be dazzled by the harmonized jazz vocal stylings of the acappela singing group, Fifth Avenue. The group s pure harmonies and delightful sense of fun are showcased in a medley of the traditional holiday classics, Jingle Bells and Winter Wonderland.
