It’s Your Chance to Dance Your Way into Cash and a Contract
The Nightclub inside the Las Vegas Hilton resurrects the best of the disco era with Dance Mania, every Sunday, Feb.1 – April 25th. As part of the popular “Disco Nights” at the Las Vegas Hilton, Dance Mania will offer cash and prizes for couples who can showcase their signature moves to a panel of celebrity judges.
Dance Mania is the ultimate dance contest where contestants perform in front of an audience and are judged on their outstanding talent. Every Sunday night, pre-judging for Dance Mania begins at 10 p.m. with the competition following at 11 p.m.
Any couple may enter the contest, which is free and open to the public. Contestants will be judged on originality, choreography, costumes and overall presentation. Seven couples will be picked to participate in the weekly competitions with each week’s winning team advancing to the finals on April 25th. Weekly prizes include up to $250 for first place. The overall winning couple of the final competition will also receive a $2000 cash prize, a weekend stay in a suite at the Las Vegas Hilton, dinner for two in The Steakhouse and a 12-week dance contract to perform at Disco Nights in The Nightclub. Contestants must be at least 21-years-old and dance as a couple. Contestants are required to dance in costume (which should be tasteful and professional) as well as bring a 90 second CD of disco music for their routine.
The Nightclub recently underwent an extensive renovation adding a number of features including, seven large-screen video monitors that allow spectators to catch every moment of the action on the dance floor. In addition, a new disco-themed stage and an exclusive upstairs VIP area with a private dance floor have been added to the venue. For those who wish to kick back and check out the Disco Nights scene, new dance sequences have been added to the production.
Disco Nights at The Nightclub are hosted on Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 10 p.m. until 2 a.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 p.m. until 3 a.m. Dance Mania is held every Sunday, Feb. 1- April 25 at 10 p.m. A complete list of rules is available at the Las Vegas Hilton Box Office.
