If you are looking for a deal in Las Vegas it can be found at the Sahara. The Casino has been upgraded and the Monorail stops at its doorstep, what else could you want. Oh yeah, low prices and very good gambling. While the Sahara is at the north end of the Strip and a bit isolated, with the addition of the monorail you are a quick trip from all the action. This was once one of the places to be and now you can appreciate the low prices and the original Las Vegas style.

The buffet here is dollar for dollar one of the best around especially at breakfast. The NASCAR café is interesting if you‘re into car racing and a steak at House of Lords will not set you back too much. Also, don’t forget to try Speed – The Ride for a fast journey through the Las Vegas air.

What you might not like at the Sahara Hotel and Casino:
It is remote and you might tire of the commute to the other strip hotels. For the price it is worth it but you might end up spending that on cab fare.

Go to the Sahara for a relaxing vacation and try to utilize what this resort has to offer. You might find that you can have an all encompassing, relaxing vacation by avoiding the monorail and cabs. If you venture out once daily you can still come out ahead.

Rooms at the Sahara Hotel and Casino: 1700+. Like most of the north end strip hotels the rooms are nice and clean but you really do not get anything too fancy. But, you’re not paying all that much either. Do not expect great views, large closets, or TV’s bigger than 19’’.
