The Casino Royale is right across the street from the Volcano at the Mirage, the pirate battle at Treasure Island and next door to the Canals at the Venetian. Those are the highlights. With approximately 166 budget rooms the Casino Royale caters to a low end clientèle. You will get a good deal and you will have a prime location on the Las Vegas strip.
What you might like at the Casino Royale:
Obviously, the location is great if you want to walk to the larger resorts. The players club card is so good you might end up making money before you gamble. Walk up to the check-in desk and ask for one and you should get at least $200 in coupons.

What you might not like at the Casino Royale:
The rooms are small and on the old side. The casino is dark and can get smoky. This is a small place that has a niche for the budget traveler. If you want to save money this is it.
My suggestion:
If you are really cutting corners try to utilize all the coupons that come with the players card. You can get a couple of free meals, some match play and $50 in slot play. This is the best coupon book and players card on the strip.

Rooms at the Casino Royale Casino: 150+ rooms that are not very special. One thing to note is to try to avoid rooms that face the alley as the noise and the smell is always overwhelming.
