The MGM Grand is just that grand! Everywhere you look information is pouring into your brain and you cannot quite figure out what’s going on. The signs tell you to go left and then right and then oh I’m confused. The hippest clubs, world class eating, amazing spa, large rooms and real life lions. If you want to see Las Vegas and completely immerse yourself in the culture there is no better place to do that than the MGM Grand. This is the mega-resort you have heard of. Upwards of 10 world class restaurants, a Cirque du Soleil show and clubs and bars that will make you blush, make this resort one of the best in Las Vegas. You might never leave.

What you might like at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino:
Emeril's is definitely a place to visit as is Sea blue and Craftsteak. Don’t forget to have your picture taken with a Lion. You will love the idea that everything you need is found under one roof

What you might not like at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino:
You might just hate that everything you need is found under one roof. The casino feels crowded and confusing. The chances that you can get to your room easily after you check-in are close to slim. There is a lot of walking involved when you stay at the MGM Grand.

My suggestion:
The price of the rooms at the MGM Grand makes this resort very appealing especially since you’re across the street from NY/NY and the Excalibur. Make sure to have a meal at one of the great restaurants and check out the lounge act out front. Those big screens might make you dizzy so watch the liquor.
Another thing you might try is the Monorail. There is a station at the MGM Grand and you can get up and down the strip with a day pass for less than the cost of a Taxi.

Rooms at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino: 5000+ rooms and most are very nice. The newer rooms are bigger but all have high end furnishings and décor. You will walk along a lot of corridors to get to your room but the design and the size of this place just makes that inevitable. Room rates start at $80 per night to upwards of $300 on weekends
