Luxor Hotel and Casino – Las Vegas

What to expect at the Luxor Hotel and Casino

If you have never been to Las Vegas the Luxor is the type of place where you can experience what Las Vegas has become. The minute you enter your room and its slanted walls you realize that rules do not apply here. If you spent an evening at LAX the nightclub you begin to wish there were some rules. If you are looking for a big themed resort for an affordable price the Luxor might be right for you.

What you might like at the Luxor Hotel and Casino:

See the Blue man group and try not to get freaked out by the blue guys making you laugh. Hamada for sushi at a reasonable price is well worth a visit. Make sure to get a room in the pyramid to get the total Luxor experience.

What you might not like at the Luxor Hotel and Casino:

If you do not like cramped spaces you might want a tower room, the slanted windows bother my wife so we rarely get to enjoy the views or the awkward stances to look down the side. The south strip location makes this resort a long walk to the big resorts like Caesars and the Venetian, but you can walk though the Mandalay Place shops into the Mandalay Bay.

Have you stayed in a Las Vegas hotel? What is your opinion? Review this hotel here.

My suggestion:

If at all possible go for a suite at the Luxor and experience the views of the strip from your bed. Impressive.
