Ballys has a prime location on the corner of Flamingo and Las Vegas Blvd. which makes it incredibly convenient if you like walking over and enjoying Caesars Palace and the Bellagio for a fraction of the price you would pay to stay there. The long walk from the strip is eased by the moving walkway and the escalators. If you could think of beige as a hotel and casino Ballys would be it. Its not flashy yet not dull and it never goes over the top. If you like to avoid the riff-raff Ballys is good for you.

What you might like at Bally's Hotel and Casino:
The monorail stops right near the back of Bally's Hotel and Casino and you can walk over to the Paris Las Vegas without ever going outside. The rooms at Bally's Hotel and Casino feel spacious and are well decorated considering this is an older hotel. The Jubilee walking tour is impressive as is the show and the indigo lounge is comfortable and enjoyable. Of course the big plus at Ballys is the location and the price compared to the big boys that surround her.

What you might not like at Bally's Hotel and Casino:
The dining options at Bally's Hotel and Casino are all just a bit too much on the average side, not any one stands out. Sometimes the walk out the front to the strip just seems too long and it becomes a hassle if youre looking to get somewhere in a hurry. If you plan on checking into Bally's Hotel try waiting until late afternoon or early morning, it can be a zoo.

My suggestion:
Take advantage of the good room rates at Ballys and walk over to Paris Las Vegas for food and entertainment. You could also eat across the street at the Forum shops at Caesars. You should also utilize the monorail from this hotel because chances are your nearest elevator will be closer to the monorail than to the strip.

Rooms at Bally's Hotel and Casino:2800+ rooms that are considerably larger than most on the strip. For the money you will possibly be getting the most square feet for your dollar. If possible try to get a room in the south tower facing the Bellagio fountains, usually all it takes is a simple smile when you check in.
