The Los Angeles Kings...wait, The Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings take on the Colorado Avalanche for Frozen Fury XV. (In case you need full disclosure I am a huge LA Kings fan.) I should make it clear that as a hockey fan I am positive you'll have fun at this event. You might say, "preseason, who watches those games?" Frozen Fury at the MGM Grand is where it all starts for fans of the Avalanche and the Kings.

The Los Angeles Kings and the Colorado Avalanche. The Kings are coming off a storybook season that saw them race through the Stanley Cup Playoffs with a 16-4 record and ultimately hoist the cup to win their first title. The Avalanche suffered through a tough season plagued by injures and goaltender issues. A new season brings new hope and endless possibilities. Hockey fans sell out this game because it is more than a pre-season game it is the start of the excitement that culminates in June with on eteam left standing.
